DAVID WAYNE SIMPSON

David Wayne Simpson, 70, of Frontenac, formerly of Arma, Kansas died at 6:38 P.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Medicalodge Frontenac, Kansas.

 Mr. Simpson was born May 16, 1956 at Ft. Scott, Kansas the son of Wayne and Mildred Willis Simpson. David was a lifelong Crawford County resident. He was raised in rural Arcadia and attended, Girard, Arma Schools and later graduated from Girard High School in the Class of 1975. Survivors include aunts, Carol Smith of Frontenac, and Estalee Simpson of Fort Scott, and numerous cousins Casey Pillion, Bruce and Brent Pulliam, Janet Keefer, Larry Simpson, Carol Carter, Roger Simpson, Susan Yoakum, Lisa Call, Sam Yoakum, Katie Yoakum, Kyle Williams, and Shelby Boyle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Mildred Simpson and his sister, Debra “Debbie” Simpson.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 A.M. Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma, Kansas with Pastor Randy Woods officiating. Friends may call 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. Sunday at the Bedene Funeral Home to sign the registar book. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
